... I will admit my adhd and autism have made it particularly difficult to both manage my time and complete my assignments, and even when I wrote this blurb it was very close to the deadline.

 

Besides studying at CSU I've been working on my own programming hobbies such as a Raspberry Pi NAS and playing video games in my free time.

 

This first semester has been pretty difficult, so I hope to get a decent amount of rest and recovery over the holidays. I would love to go and see my sisters in Canberra and Wollongong but I am in the process of trying to find accessible accommodation plus many other challenges like supports etc.

 

Alas as much as I would prefer to skip all the complexities and take a swag and a sleeping bag like many my age and go and see my sisters, I am unable due to my condition. 
 

I hope to find a job later this year and maybe move off campus to live in a shared house with some friends. I’m also hoping I will be able to go to the MDNSW young adults retreat later this year. 

 

I’ll also return to Canowindra for Christmas to be with my family. Although NDIS have made this tricky due to a lack of funding to pay for carers etc. 

 

Apart from all the difficulties this year I have been blessed with some very good friends who have offered their help and advice in times of trouble, and I am reminded In the difficulties I face when I try to overcome them, “with man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible”.
