About
Gideon, Anwen and Mahalah Read are fraternal triplets, and were each born with Merosin Deficient Muscular Dystrophy.
They are each bright and engaging individuals, with unique interests and skills.
Until recently, they were all living at home with their full time carer-parents Jemimah and Ben.
The charitable trust is a grass-roots community group that formed in 2015 when community members saw Ben and Jemimah in the early days of fundraising to build an accessible home for their triplets.
With the help of the trust, the family were able to realise the dream
of a fully accessible home for the triplets, and moved
in at the end of 2017.
The family is now embarking on the next stage of life, now that the trio have turned eighteen and have completed school!
Aims of Raising for the Read Triplets Inc.

Funding of a purpose built wheelchair and disability friendly home.

Provision of non-NDIS funded medical equipment and mobility aids; Hydrotherapy Pool.

Provide the family specialised and modified transport.

Provision of long term educational support and access.

Provide Jemimah and Ben respite care and support.
